LIGHT BEYOND
Gospel of John: Jesus received word that his friend Lazarus was ill, but delayed his journey to Bethany for two days. When Jesus arrived, Lazarus had been dead and in the tomb for four days. Jesus ordered the stone removed from the tomb’s entrance. After a prayer to the Father, Jesus called out, “Lazarus, come out!”.
Miraculously, Lazarus emerged from the tomb. Jesus instructed the onlookers to remove Lazarus burial clothes and let him go. This extraordinary demonstration of Jesus’ power over death strengthened the faith of his disciples and served as a foreshadowing of his own upcoming death and resurrection.
EXPERIENCES:
"I was surrounded by a bluish-white light… an enormous feeling of well-being and peace. The highest and lowest points of my life raced by me before being revived."
After being declared dead, he described experiencing "divine beauty" and "feelings of love," which left him unafraid of death.
" Dying was the most pleasant thing I’ve ever experienced, and being revived was the worst. Everything became calm and peaceful; I was no longer in pain. But coming back brought massive pain and a horrible stench.”
“It was a sense of welcome and going to something better. I felt addressed by God, who told me it wasn’t my time.”
