Lazarus Phenomenon

The spontaneous return of circulation (autoresuscitation) after failed CPR.

I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me,

though he were dead, yet shall he live.

LIGHT BEYOND

Gospel of John: Jesus received word that his friend Lazarus was ill, but delayed his journey to Bethany for two days. When Jesus arrived, Lazarus had been dead and in the tomb for four days. Jesus ordered the stone removed from the tomb’s entrance. After a prayer to the Father, Jesus called out, “Lazarus, come out!”.

Miraculously, Lazarus emerged from the tomb. Jesus instructed the onlookers to remove Lazarus burial clothes and let him go. This extraordinary demonstration of Jesus’ power over death strengthened the faith of his disciples and served as a foreshadowing of his own upcoming death and resurrection.
